I support an environment that attracts business and supports small business owners.
I will focus on new job creation and workforce retention that will help grow our communities throughout western Nebraska. We must create an irresistible and welcoming environment for robust business creators so they can hire, train and unleash the strength of western Nebraska’s workforce.
I will support agriculture by creating new opportunities and markets. Small business including family farms is the engine for Nebraska’s economy.
We must eradicate obstacles to business growth, including cutting regulatory demands that harm our farmers and ranchers and discourage job growth.
Nebraska’s tax policy must be competitive with our neighboring states. Job creators will not build businesses where the tax code is uncompetitive. Nebraska’s property tax rate, individual income tax rate and corporate tax rate needs to promote economic growth, not discourage it.

I believe life begins at conception.
I will always oppose using tax dollars for abortion funding.
I strongly support adoption as the compassionate and moral alternative to abortion.
I strongly supported LB574 and the limitation it provided for abortion in Nebraska – but we must do more.
In the legislature, I will always vote to protect innocent life.

I will always defend the people’s rights to protect themselves.
We must stop the erosion of those rights through overreach by regulation and special interest groups.
I support Constitutional Carry. You should be able to carry a gun without getting a permission slip from the government.
In the Legislature, I will always defend the Second Amendment.

We must shrink outside influence of state and federal agencies and teachers’ unions on the process of educating our children.
I believe in local control, school boards and parents should dictate our education policy, not big government.
I support education freedom – parents and children should always have access to the education setting that is the best for them.

I will always stand with law enforcement and safeguard our communities.
We must increase support and public respect for Law Enforcement and the Law – including Border enforcement.
We must eradicate radical policies that marginalizes law enforcement or attempts to replace them with something else and something less.

I will always fight to protect our water rights.
I am committed to working with environmental leaders to manage invasive wild game species that threaten our farmers and ranchers.
I am a strong supporter of the ethanol industry and believe that we need to do all we can to maximize the benefits of ethanol. From our corn fields to our gas tanks – ethanol is the answer.
